Job title: Front House Staff

Based in: The Croft, St. Vincent Road, Kacheripady, Ernakulam

Reports to: Front House Manager

Hours:  Full time (9 Hrs./Day)

Salary: Starting at Rs. 10,000/month

Job Purpose: Taking orders, serving customers, packing orders, overseeing café, making drinks, cleaning

 

Job responsibilities:

​

  • Answer all incoming inquiries professionally, ensuring an excellent customer experience.

  • Plan the day-to-day orders of pastries and breads for the café together with the bakers.

  • Complete your barista training. 

  • Make sure the café is clean, organized, and stocked with fresh pastries and breads.

  • Take orders from customers in the café and though the delivery apps, phone calls and email.

  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their desires and concerns offering solutions in a satisfactory manner.

  • Communicate with other team members about orders, advance orders and any related issues.

  • Collect and report customer feedback to ensure that best practices are recognised and maintained.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Work experience in any type of restaurant, hotel, or bakery

  • Committed with a desire to grow your skills within our business

  • Organized and able to work well in a busy environment

  • Confident with technology, able to quickly grasp different software applications and systems

  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal

  • Able to communicate clearly in Malayalam

  • Polite and friendly

  • Trustworthy and reliable

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
